Who cares. He lead the team in all rushing categories - 204 carries for 975 yards and 10 touchdowns. He is one of the best backs in the league IMO.
I care, thats who does. I never said he wasn't any good did I? I just dont think that somebody who don't even start on their team should be a Pro Bowler. Marion is a fine RB, definately a BEAST that I wouldnt be stoked about having to try and tackle but no, hes not one of the best RB's in the league, top 10 but not top 5.

he didnt rush for 1000 yards, wasnt in the top 5 in the NFC in rushing yards, dont think the top 10 in rushing yards.

Fans shouldn't get to vote for pro bowlers IMO.

I believe the fans should vote on the pro bowlers. To me, this game is strictly for the fans and means nothing other than the prestigous (sp) of being NAMED to the pro bowl and besides most of the top names sit out to rest injuries and get their off-season surgeries.
I do not think I have watched a pro bowl game in 10 years. Just too boring. I know the biggest thing for the players is to come out of it healthy.
I think the pro bowl should reward the best performers of the season...not who is most popular.

If he was better than the starter then yes he should have been. The only reason he didnt have the same numbers is because of that very reason, if he had been then he wouldve been up there in the numbers. And for him to do that without starting a game, speaks volumes on why he should have been there. He wasnt the starting QB for the NFC in the game either, he made the team and he deserved it.
he was 18th in the league for overall rushing yards.
he was 8th in the NFC.
only two of those eight in the NFC had more touchdowns.
While a few others might have been deserving, you can't say Barber wasn't.
